APPLICATION FOR DEPUTY RANGER

Any entering 9th grader who has been a camper at LCT in previous years could be candidate to be a Ranger Deputy this summer. There are only 2-4 spots and many candidates and this makes it very competitive. If you want to apply, send us an email to lct@leadershipcamptexas.net saying so to start the process.

Any candidates to Deputy Rangers need to successfully apply for the Matacanes/Mexico Trip and the High School & Beyond Seminar. More information and application forms for these programs can be found on www.chaucercenter.net

All of the previous LCT campers will have a better opportunity to serve as Junior Counselors once they complete their first year in High School. There are several reasons for this: but the main one is so they have time to mature, understand and get ready to take up their new role as counselors (serving the campers vs. being a camper, being a role model, developing into virtuous leaders).

Obviously, the most important thing to prepare to be a future LCT Junior Counselor is for the former camper to keep trying hard in his studies, being a good team-member at home (helping with younger and older siblings) and that he benefits from the formational programs available in his city.

The process for selection of the Ranger Deputy is not as structured as the other ones. We will know approximately around March-April  and will let them know.

Thanks!
