The Western Civilization Seminar

The Western Civ. Seminar offers an exciting introduction to higher education.  This year’s seminar will be given by John Rocha, Director of the Center for the American Idea. During the Fall and Spring semesters, he will lead a college level discussion on George Washington and Virtuous Leadership.

The goal of this seminar is to prepare students in high school for their college academic career.  Through this seminar students will be exposed to a higher and more stimulating level of academic discourse. This experience will help familiarize them to the college setting, increase their intellectual curiosity, and give them a better idea of what to expect when entering college.

Western Civ. Seminar Coordinator: J.L. Marti
