High School Men Retreat (April 23-25, 2010)
at Featherock Conference Center, Schulenburg, Texas.
Featherock Calendar
The  retreat provides an opportunity to set aside all distractions and reflect on the past year in the presence of God. Pray, seek advice and depart with renewed vigor and practical resolutions that will help you move forward in the peace and joy of Christ. Prayer is facilitated by meditations preached by the priest, talks on relevant topics for high school students, daily Mass and praying the Way of the Cross, the Rosary.

Leadership Camp Texas junior counselors (click here)
July 3 – 9, 2010, 10-11-12th graders

Students will have the opportunity to serve as counselors at Leadership Camp Texas.

 

Science/Medicine Summer Ethics Workshop (click here)
June 15 – 19, 2010, 10-11-12th graders

Students will study and discuss some of the main moral and ethical questions related to scientific progress and human nature. Click here for the application form.

Science/Medicine Summer Research Project (click here)
June - July 2010, 10-11-12th graders

Students will have the opportunity to work on a scientific research project under the supervision of doctors/college faculty mentors for 4-6 weeks. Houston, Texas.

The High School Science Club has as its primary goal fostering an appreciation for science and technology among young students, along with a reflection on science’s responsibility to promote social justice by respecting ethical values. The club also searches to promote the reflection on the ethical boundaries of science and technology.
